As the COVID-19 Pandemic progresses and states are able to resume previously scheduled elective surgeries, states are asked to abide by the following roadmap prepared jointly by the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Anesthesiologists, Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, and the American Hospital Association. These guidelines are distributed at the national level, and give each state’s Governor and/or Health Official or Authority the power to determine their own requirements or guidelines for their respective health facilities. Health Care Exemption to Travel Quarantine
The states of Hawaii and Florida recently issued mandates for travelers arriving in their states to self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
